Our 14k gold fill jewelry contains a thick layer of real gold bonded to a high-quality base metal, making it highly durable and resistant to tarnishing under normal wear. Unlike plated jewelry, it won't rust and can withstand occasional contact with water.

However, to keep your jewelry looking its best, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals.

 

To help preserve the finish of your jewelry, avoid direct contact with:

  • Perfumes and aftershaves
  • Body lotions and creams
  • Harsh soaps and shampoos
  • Household cleaning products
  • Chlorine and bleach

 

We recommend applying perfumes, lotions, and cosmetics before putting on your jewelry and allowing them to dry completely.

 

For the longest life, we also recommend removing your jewelry before:

  • Swimming in pools or the sea
  • Using hot tubs or spas
  • Exercising at the gym
  • Activities involving prolonged exposure to moisture or chemicals

 

Chlorine, salt water, perspiration and chemicals can gradually dull the finish of your jewelry and may damage gemstones over time.

If your jewelry accidentally comes into contact with chemicals or chlorine, rinse it as soon as possible using warm water and, if necessary, a soft-bristled brush. Dry your jewelry thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth immediately afterwards.

  • If you don't have a jewelry box, store each piece in a soft velvet or fabric pouch.

Day-to-Day Cleaning

We recommend gently cleaning your jewelry after each wear using a soft polishing cloth. This helps remove natural oils, perspiration, lotions, and everyday residue before storing your piece, keeping it looking its best.

 

 

Deep Cleaning

A more thorough clean once a week will help maintain your jewelry's shine and remove any dirt or residue that may have built up over time

 

To clean your jewelry:

  1. Fill a small bowl with warm water and add a small amount of mild soap.
  2. Gently clean your jewelry using a soft-bristled brush, paying attention to any detailed areas.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, ensuring all soap residue has been removed.
  4. Dry immediately using a soft, lint-free cloth.
  5. Finish by gently polishing your piece with a jewelry polishing cloth to restore its natural shine.
